Robert Coy

Robert Coy, age 92, of Deerfield, passed away at Canterbury Nursing Home on December 16, 2020.

He was born on April 28, 1928 in Barberton, Ohio to Guy and Virginia (Lawson) Coy.

Robert worked for ANNACO until his retirement. He then started Lakeview Hatchery where he was the owner and operator for over 20 years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Eleanor (Clark) Coy, whom he was married to for over 62 years; his children, Daniel Coy, Steve (Karen) Coy, Scott (Pat) Coy, and Robert (Kay) Coy, Patti (Larry) Oberhaus, and Lynn (Roy) Schlarb; over 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Terry and Richard Coy; daughters, Darlene McNeill, Sharon Tripplett and Charlotte Palmer.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 19 at 2:00 p.m at Edinburg Cemetery.
