Robert W. "Robby" Flugan, age 20, of Alliance, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.
He was born September 12, 1990 in Alliance, Ohio to Rockne C. and Cheri (DeMuth) Flugan.
Robby was a 2008 graduate of Alliance High School. He was a member of the First Church of God and formerly with the church youth group and sang in the choir. He enjoyed shooting his guns and woodworking.
He was a very compassionate young man and was especially so with the elderly.
Survivors include his mother, Cheri Flugan of Alliance; two brothers, Matthew (Jessica) Watson and Rockne Flugan Jr., both of Alliance; sister, Nicole (Roman) Arosemena of FL; maternal grandmother, Erma Horton of Alliance; paternal grandmother, Betty (Edward) Mitchell of Sampson, Ala; paternal step-grandmother, Shirley Flugan of Sebring; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rockne C. Flugan, Sr; maternal grandfather, George S. DeMuth; maternal grandfather, Warren G. Horton; paternal grandfather, Rockne B. Flugan; and uncle, Bryan DeMuth.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home co-officiated by Pastor Larry Murphy and Pastor Jack Ruble. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at held at Alliance City Cemetery.
