Robert L Gillman

Robert L. Gillman, Age 79, of Alliance, passed away at Alliance Community Hospital on September 1, 2020.

He was born February 23, 1941 to Columbus R. Gillman and Enos C. (Collins) Gillman.

Robert was employed as Baker and as a construction worker.

He was a member of The Dante Club.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his significant other, Bonnie Syme; daughters, Laura Mays of Alliance and Loretta Edgell of Akron; son, Robert C. Gillman of Lake Placid, FL; son in law, Andrew Edgell; brothers, Charles Gillman, Dennis Gillman and John Thomas, all of Alliance; sisters, Juanita Duncan, Doris Garton, and Lulla Knerr of Sandusky; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; three sisters; son in law, Russell Mays; and two great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation and sharing of memories at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, September 4th from 5-6 PM.
