Robert W. Hoffmaster

Robert W. Hoffmaster, age 95, of Alliance, passed away at 5:20 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2015, at McCrea Manor.
He was born January 8, 1920, in Salem, Ohio, to Lloyd and Phoebe (Spink) Hoffmaster and resided most of his life in the Alliance area.
A 1939 graduate of Alliance High School, Bob had been a photographer with his business Blencolor Photography and a laboratory assistant at Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Company until his retirement.
Robert was a member of the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, Boy Scout Master with Troop 268 and a member of the Good Sam and Coast to Coast travel clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine E. (Keith) Hoffmaster, whom he married February 14, 1953; two sons, Keith Alan (Lori) Hoffmaster and Kevin Robert (Liz) Hoffmaster; daughter, Karen (Randy) McKnight, all of Alliance; six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private memorial service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Fairmount Memorial Park.
