Robert S. Huskins, Sr. age 62, of Louisville, passed away at 7:25 p.m., Monday, October 3, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 30, 1954, in Alliance, Ohio, to John and Bonnie (Dorff) Huskins and was a lifelong resident.
A 1972 graduate of Marlington High School, Robert was employed at Ohio Gratings as a machine operator and had previously worked for Babcock and Wilcox Research for 22 years, where he earned his mechanical engineering degree.
Bobby was a member of the Turning Point Baptist Church in Limaville.
Survivors include his wife, Starrla (Deadrick) Huskins, whom he married November 20, 1976; son, Robert Huskins Jr. and his fiancee Mary Goodnow of Louisville; daughter, Donnette (Steve) Hahn of Tennessee; five grandchildren, Dakota Hahn, Aspen Thompson, Cheyenne Hahn, Dylan Huskins and Kailyn Huskins; great-grandson, Lyric Hahn; and four step-grandchildren, Amber Johnston, Sara Brown, Katelynn Brown and Terry Brown.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Candy Huskins; and his parents.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Lanham officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday the 6th at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
