Robert J. Miller

Robert J. Miller, age 76, passed away on July 19, 2023.

He was born on August 14, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert G. and Virginia (Reese) Miller.

Robert graduated from Akron University with a Bachelor’s in science. He worked in the lab at Timken Mercy Hospital as a phlebotomist until his retirement. Robert was proud to have served in the Vietnam War in the Calvary division of the Army.

Robert enjoyed target shooting and was an avid military gun collector. He also enjoyed machine work and fishing, but most of all, Robert loved spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon; daughter, Allison (Mark) Brewster; brother, David (Donna) Miller; sister, Patricia McGreal; brother, Greg Miller; and two grandchildren, Taylor and Mark III.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 25th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park.
