Robert "Bob" Miles, age 65 of Alliance, died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday July 30, 3005 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born in Ashland, Ohio on October 2, 1939 and had lived in Alliance for 65 years.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Chrysler where he had been an Automation Specialist for 32 years.
He was an avid bowler, having bowled for 55 years with the Parkway Lanes Bowling League.
Bob is survived by his wife, Peg Miles, whom he married on June 20, 1981; five grandchildren, Cameron, Cassandra, Christopher, Jessica, and Ashley; two sisters, Kay (Wilber) Beck of Indianapolis, In, and Carol (Allen) Randolph of Alliance, three nephews, Jim Miles, Randy (Beth) Miles, and Bob (Melody) Miles, one niece, Terri; three dogs, Trouble, Little Bear and Little Bit, and two cats, Pumpkin and Tigger.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Carl and Helen Miles.
Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, with visitation to follow from 6-8 p.m.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 925 S. Main St. North Canton, Ohio 44720, or the family prefers artificial flower arrangements.
