Robert D. Moore age 52 of Atwater, died as the result of an automobile accident on Saturday, June 12, 2004.
He was born in Abilene, Texas on May 30, 1952 to Jerry and Patricia P. (Rosso) Moore, and lived in Atwater most of his life.
He graduated from Waterloo High School, and was the owner and president of A.S.N.F. Producing, Inc.
Mr. Moore was a member of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, William McKinley Masonic Lodge #431 in Canton, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton.
He was a U.S. Army Vietnam era veteran.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Patricia Moore of Hartville, his wife Patricia K. (Hunt) Moore, whom he married Jan. 2, 1989; four daughters Carrie Anne Moore of Nashville, TN, A1C Melissa L. Hahlen and daughter Savannah L. Hahlen of Atwater, currently of Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi, Stephanie (John) Foster of Randolph, Donna M. (Paul) Moyer of North Canton, two sons Robert Joseph (Kresnt) Huth of Atwater, and Michael J. Thane of North Canton, five grandchildren, and two brothers Randal V. (Kathy) Moore of Newcomerstown, and Daniel J. (Karen) Moore of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by one son Joseph G. Thane Jr.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Tucker officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday by the William McKinley Masonic Lodge. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
