Robert Kenneth Richardson, age 66, of Minerva, passed away at 9:53 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2009 at his home with his family at his bedside.
He was born July 23, 1943 in Canton, to Robert H. and Ethel (Vancil) Richardson.
A 1962 graduate of Alliance High School, Robert was formerly employed at Transue & Williams Stamping Division for 25 years as purchasing and operations manager; Tru-Cut Automotive in Salem as purchasing manager for 14 years until his recent retirement from CTM Labeling Systems in Salem as purchasing manager.
Robert was a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie No. 2199, past treasurer of Transue & Williams Credit Union, a former Junior Achievement advisor for many years, and a former Indian Guide advisor for the YMCA.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela J. (Pazzelli) Richardson, whom he married May 30, 1964; his three sons, Scott K. (Jessica) Richardson of Homeworth, OH, Todd A. (Maty) Richardson of Belleville, IL, and Kent M. (Jo Anne) Richardson of Berlin Center, OH; six grandchildren, Joseph, Brandie, Cruz, Mallory, Bethany and Terry; one step great-grandson, Anthony; sister, Susan Lytle of Houston, DE; one nephew and two nieces.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Hospice Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Moultrie Chapel Cemetery.
