Robert D. Sanders, age 50, of Alliance, Ohio passed away at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at McCrea Manor.
He was born March 17, 1959 in Miami, Florida, to Francis Lee and Margaret E. (Williams) Sanders.
Robert was a graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin, North Carolina. He was formerly employed by Charlie Winner Construction and was a former bartender at Roadhouse Charley's. He was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret E. Sanders of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, William Lee Sanders.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the Marlboro Assembly of God with Rev. David V. Holibaugh officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
