Robert Sheen

Robert E. Sheen age 85 of Alliance, died at 9:18 p.m. Wednesday June 2, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born February 10, 1919 in Columbiana, Ohio to William and Rachael (Flitcraft) Sheen, and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Sheen retired from Ford Motor Company in 1979, after working as a press operator.
He was a member of the U.A.W. #542, enjoyed fishing and loved Labrador Retrievers.
Mr. Sheen was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, having served as a cook in the South Pacific during World War II. For all those who knew Bob as "Daddy Bob" he will surely be missed.
Survivors include; his wife Frances J. Moulin Sheen, whom he married March 8, 1938, and one daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Zelinskas of Canton, and grandchildren, Katie Zelinskas, John and Pam Sheen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, John Michael, who died in 1991.
Services will be held at Noon Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
