Robert W. Wilhelm, age 87, of Alliance passed away at 8:20 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at McCrea Manor.
He was born April 4, 1929 in Randolph, OH to Royce and Edith (Walker) Wilhelm and spent his life working the family farm.
Bob was a proud independent man who survived the Great Depression. He took pride in taking care of his siblings, his farm and was a great neighbor to many.
Survivors include his sister, Ostie Wilhelm of Alliance; nephews, Gary and David Wilhelm also of Alliance; and his great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alton Wilhelm; and niece, Carol Teutsch.
Bob's family would like to express a special thank you to Jeff and Tina for their years of being great neighbors and becoming part of the family. Also, they would like to thank the wonderful staff at McCrea Manor for their care and kindness towards Bob during his stay.
A private service will be held for the family on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph, OH.
