Robert James "Baldy" Woods, age 75, of Alliance, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Altercare of Alliance.
He was born June 17, 1937, in Salem, to Frasher and Pauline (Logan) Woods.
Robert worked at Krash Metal Company until his retirement.
He is survived by his brother, John (Augusta) Woods of Willingboro, New Jersey; close friend, Dora Board of Alliance; special niece, Amanda Board of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews of Alliance, Cambridge, Cincinnati and Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond Woods and Wallace Woods; and three sisters, Pauline Carter, Mary Lightner and Sarah McElroy.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Williams officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 885 S. Sawburg Rd. Suite 106, Alliance, OH 44601.
