Roberta L. "Bobbi" Klaas, age 71, of Alliance, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Community Care Center in Alliance.
She was born May 20, 1944, in Alliance, Ohio, to Robert and Deloris (Burroughs) Klaas and was a lifelong resident.
Roberta was a 1962 graduate of Alliance High School and retired as an administrative assistant in the electronics division at Lockheed Martin.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and collecting antique and vintage memorabilia.
Survivors include her daughters, Dana Van Derkar of Alliance and Amy Van Derkar of Minerva; son, Chris (Heather) Van Derkar; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Stephen (Joanne) Klaas of Jacksonburg, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
No services will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to a local humane society of the donor's choice.
