Robyn E. (Scott) Davies, age 58, of Alliance, passed away at 1:38 p.m., Sunday August 3, 2014, at her home.
She was born October 20, 1955, in Alliance, Ohio, to Edward James and Elizabeth Mae (Burris) Davies Powers.
Robyn was a 1974 graduate of Marlington High School and formerly employed by Dairy Mart and East of Chicago Pizza.
She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and sang in the International Voices of Praise Choir at Mount Union College. She loved her family, music and her animals.
Survivors include her mother, Betty (Myron) Powers of Beloit; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Scott (Theodore) Ormiston of N. Benton and Amy Joy Scott of Alliance; six grandchildren, Olivia, Austin, Emma, Zackery, Dominic and Kyle; sister, Jaime Stevens of Alliance; two brothers, Jim (Rosemary) Davies of Alliance and Scott Davies of Canton and many nieces and nephews.
Robyn was preceded in death by her father, Edward James Davies.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Corbett and Mike Strickland co-officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
