Roger R. Frank, age 38, of Beloit, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, June 30, 2014, after a five-year courageous battle with cancer.
Roger was born June 29, 1976, at Camp Lejeune, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and grew up in Alliance, Ohio. He was the son of Denver J. and Penny B. (Seibert) Frank.
Roger worked at Robertson Heating Supply for 14 years where he had countless friends before his illness forced him to stop working. He was a 1995 graduate of West Branch High School.
Roger attended Crossroad Ministries in Salem where he enjoyed participating in the praise band and also a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Alliance.
Roger leaves his parents; wife, Jennifer (Fisher) Frank; son, Hunter B. Frank and daughter, Emmerson J. Frank, both of Alliance; brother, Michael (Angela) Frank of N. Carolina; sister, Jennifer (Mike) Schmidt of Beloit; niece, Sara J. Schmidt; nephew, Blake M. Schmidt; grandparents, Norma J. and Roger Seibert; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Denver R. and Betty J. Frank.
Roger was an incredible person who loved spending time with his children and his family. He enjoyed camping and was an avid hunter, fisherman and member of the Ohio Walleye Federation having participated in many walleye tournaments. Roger also was a wonderful guitarist. He had been playing the guitar since he was 17 years old.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 4, 2014, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Freddie Rodriguez of Crossroad Ministry Church officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his children's college fund at Huntington Bank 2 W. State St. Alliance, OH 44601.
Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!" Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."
