Roger Priebe

Roger W. Priebe, age 62, of Alliance, died at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at his home.
He was born July 30, 1945 in Garfield Heights, Ohio to Edmund Priebe and Betsy (Manz) Priebe Slovich and resided in Alliance since 1999.
Roger was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
He was a graduate of Garfield Heights High School and was employed as a service manager for Ohio Cat. He enjoyed yard work, woodworking, and sports.
He is survived by his wife, Claire L. (Solveson) Priebe, whom he married October 7, 2000; son, Roger Priebe Jr. of Garfield Heights; daughter; Andra (Attila) Meszaros of Twinsburg, Ohio; stepsons, Kyle Woodruff of Canton, Ohio and Kenneth Woodruff of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Sophia Meszaros; sister, Carole Hepworth of Freedom, Indianna; niece, Suzanne (Brock) Hepworth and nephew, Mark Hepworth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gerald Priebe; and his brother-in-law, Robert Hepworth.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave, Alliance, Ohio with Rev. John Anderson officiating. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday.
