Roger L. Stoudt

Roger L. Stoudt, age 87, of Homeworth, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2016, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born September 8, 1928, in Alliance, to Homer and Helen (Smith) Stoudt.
A 1946 graduate of Alliance High School, Roger worked for 43 years as a lineman for Ohio Edison.
He was a member of the Ohio National Guard and St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he was past president of the property committee and a former member of the church bowling league.
Roger enjoyed working outside in his yard, hunting, fishing, camping and traveling, spending summers in Canada and winters in Florida.
He was a very loving, kind and generous husband who will be sadly missed by his wife, Dolores Marie (Kolm) Stoudt, whom he married September 10, 1950; his grandson, Kevin (Kathleen) Stoudt of St. Cloud, Fl.; great granddaughters, Kayla and Cheyenne Stoudt; and his daughter-in-law, Joyce Stoudt of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Kevin and Gary Stoudt; brothers, Robert and Virgil Stoudt; and sister, Wanda Albrich.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with The Rev. Timothy Muse officiating. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
