Roger James Vojtech

Roger James Vojtech, age 76, of Alliance, passed away at 9:20 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017, at his home.
He was born September 28, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Ladislav 'Butch' and Margaret (Osborn) Vojtech.
Roger was a graduate of Lutheran High School in Cleveland and was a retired car salesman.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, CSA Fraternal Life, where he served as past president of the Lodge Benjamin Franklin and of the Silver Softball League.
Roger was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Delora (Harvey) Vojtech, whom he married September 18, 1965; daughter, Cindy (Rodney) Campbell; son, Douglas Vojtech; grandchildren, Lindsey, Jacob, and Morgan Campbell; brother, James (Janet) Vojtech; sister, Judy Vojtech; nieces, Ashley Vojtech, Shelby (Scott) Zackaroff and Gabrielle Vojtech; brother-in-law to Sharon (Al) Arbeiter, Beverly (Lyle) Etbauer, Duane (Carol) Harvey, Keith (deceased) (Judy) Harvey, Dennis (Kathy) Harvey, Marcia (Vince) Beaner, and Arlen (Marie) Harvey; and cousin and uncle to many.
In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his beloved stepmother, Wilma Vojtech.
Services will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy Muse of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to Alliance Hospice.
