Roger A. Zingg, age 68 of Canton, died at 2:02 p.m. June 8, 2006 at his home.
He was born Aug. 24, 1937 at the family home in Alliance to Warner K. and Catherine Ann (Britton) Zingg and was a lifelong resident.
Roger graduated in 1955 from Alliance High School and was an account manager for Standard Testing Laboratories, F.M. Division currently on assignment in Beijing China.
A U.S. Navy Veteran, he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in North Canton.
He is survived by one son, Roger A. Zingg of Port Townsend, Washington; one daughter, Cindy (Fady) Chehade of Solon, Ohio; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher and Monica; one sister, Louise (Elmer) Weber of Alliance; and three brothers, Walter (Judy) Zingg of Alliance, Alfred (Patty) Zingg of Beloit, and Warner (Glenna) Zingg Jr. of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Monsignor James Kolp officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
