Rollin D. Rosenberger

Rollin D. “Rollie” Rosenberger, age 85, of Alliance, passed away November 21, 2022 at Broadway Creek Senior Living in Medina.

He was born January 23, 1937 in New Franklin, Ohio to Arthur and Gladys (Barkdoll) Rosenberger.

A graduate of Alliance High School, Rollie continued his education to become a Carpenter. He retired from Kintz Construction and was the Owner/Operator of Rosenberger Construction.

Rollie played football at Alliance High School and was an avid Ohio State Fan. He was a member of the North Canton Eagles, Alliance Elks, Sleepy Hollow, and Boy Scouts of America. He also enjoyed golfing.

Survivors include his daughters, Shari R. Johnson and Melissa Kay (Len) Loftis; grandchildren, Ted Johnson III, Dane Johnson, Madison Loftis, Brooke Loftis (Josh Bobbs) and Allison Loftis; great-grandson, Lucas Bobbs; and sister, Dixie (Ron) Sturm.

Rollie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elsie Jane (Bertram) Rosenberger, whom he married in 1959, and who passed December 21, 2019.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a..m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at First United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lynn Shetzer  officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Western Reserve, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina OH 44256.
