Roma L. Eddy, age 61, of Alliance, passed away at 1:22 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1948, in Alliance, to the late Frank and Roma (Bacon) Wells Valentine.
Roma attended Marlington and Canton Public Schools and was a former manager of the Silver Bullet.
She enjoyed cooking, dancing and enjoyed visiting with friends at the clubs and spending time with her husband.
Roma is survived by her husband Jarold T. Eddy, of Alliance, whom she married July 31, 2000; two sisters, Marsha (Nick) Mravich of Alliance and Kay (Bob) Shelton of Ft. White, Florida; two brothers, Joe Jett of Alliance and Roger Vandegrift of Cuyahoga Falls; a niece, Wilma (Donald) Brown of Canton; cousins, Kandice (Carl) Moore of Alliance and Randy Krabill of Homeworth; and several other nephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a daughter, Christina Konrath.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday December 26, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Megan Elliott of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Mount Union Cemetery at a later date.
