Ron Benner

Ron Benner, age 54 of Alliance, died at 12:55 p.m. June 28, 2009 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born August 6, 1954 in Alliance, Ohio to Donna L. (Gardner) Benner.
A 1972 graduate of West Branch High School, Ron was the Owner and Operator of a Concrete Pumping Service and also an Oil Field Roust About Service.
Ron formerly participated with the Mountain Man Rendezvous, member of NRA; enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodcarving.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Benner of Alliance; two brothers, Jack (Lee Ann) Benner of Salem and Ted (Nancy) Benner of Alliance; one sister, Cynthia (Tony) Burkhart of Alliance; three nieces and three nephews which he adored, Bill, Dan, Andy, Amy, Amanda and Casey; and one uncle, Virgil Gardner of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Robert Benner.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Cyndi Midlack of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
