Ron Kerr

Ron Kerr, age 70, of Alliance passed away at 3 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017, of an extended illness.
He was born December 20, 1946, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Ernest Kerr and Ruth (Bowers) Sanor.
A graduate of Minerva High School, Ron was employed at the Alliance Loan. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Ron was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo, president of the Timken Coin Club, first secretary of the Ohio Numismatics Association and a life member of North Georgetown American Legion. He liked wood working and loved animals.
Survivors include his wife, Lilly (Weibel) Kerr whom he married June 2, 2001; children, Bobby and Ronny; sister, Kathie (Tom) Adams; and brothers, Scott (Pam) Kerr and Rick (Theresa) Kerr.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo. Friends may call the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the choice of the donor's charity.
