“Together Again”-
Ronald Neal “Uncle Neal” Blake, age 93, of Homeworth passed away Sunday morning, March 21, 2021, after a fall at his home.
He was born on December 9, 1927 in Greene County, PA, the son of Rodney C and Nettie (Riggs) Blake.
Neal was retired from American Steel Foundry as a Class A Welder. He was a past Master of the Homeworth Masonic Lodge, a past member of the Tadmor Shrine Club, Alliance Shrine Club Transportation Unit and Alliance Shrine Club Gojo unit. Neal enjoyed woodworking, fishing and traveling, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He served honorably as an Aviation Machinist Sergeant in the United States Marines.
He is survived by his sons, Ron Blake of Sandusky and Chuck (Peggy) Blake of Sebring; grandchildren, Andrew (Lisa) Blake and Beth (Eric) Miller; great-grandchildren, Mallory, Eli and Ian Miller; and brother, Robert (Jean) Blake.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rebecca; and son, Mark.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m. with Nancy Castellucci, Celebrant, officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 24th from 6-8 p.m.
