Ronald R. Dillon

Ronald R. Dillon, age 73, of North Benton, passed away at 7:35 a.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016, at his home.
He was born September 1, 1943, in Alliance, Ohio, to William and Gladys (Duell) Dillon and was a lifelong area resident.
Ronald, a 1961 graduate of Glenwood High School went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University.
He was employed in management at United States Steel, East Manufacturing and Mac Trailer.
Ronald was a member of the Charity Masonic Lodge in Deerfield.
Survivors include his wife, Minda (Faverty) Dillon; son, Alvis Shane of North Benton; two daughters, Shannon (Rhys) Sampson of Deerfield and Taryn (Mike) Johnson of Alliance; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Joan Tarbet; and nephew, Michael Shawn Tarbet.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016, at the Deerfield Town Hall.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's honor to any Animal Rescue Group.
