Ronald P. Durm

Ronald P. Durm, age 75, of Canton, passed away at 11:25 a.m., Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born June 17, 1943, in Alliance, Ohio, to Virgil Paul Durm and Flora Edna (Salsbury) Durm Riffle.
Ronald attended Marlington High School and was employed as a Class A Core Maker at American Steel Foundry.
He enjoyed fishing and metal detecting.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen Louise (Crisp) Durm whom he married April 5, 1975; daughter, Kimberly Rae Nelson of Alliance; one grandson, Savon L. Sample; two granddaughters, Alicia M. Morris and Tori M. Durm; two great-grandsons, Brenden Grounds and Caine Grounds; brother, Wilbur (Carol) Durm; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry L. Durm; sister, Virginia Wilkinson; son-in-law, Michael Sample; and daughter, Jenny Sample.
Services will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4682 Douglas Circle NW Canton, OH 44718.
