Ronald R. Grisez, age 69, of Alliance, died at 4 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born February 17, 1941, in Akron, to Raymond Grisez and Miriam (O'Dell) Grisez Fawcett.
Ronald was a 1959 graduate of Springfield High School in Akron and attended Kent State University. He was Manager of Purchasing for Morgan Engineering.
A member of the Alliance Elks for 32 years, and former trustee, Ron retired from the Sebring Fire Department. An avid Ohio State University fan, he also enjoyed spending time watching his granddaughters play softball and soccer. He was a member of the United States Army National Guard.
Survivors include his two sons, Todd (Suzanne) Grisez of Copley and Troy (Leigh) Grisez of Alliance; five grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Riley. Regan and Reese; and his former wife, Linda (Larkins) Grisez.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
An Elks Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial conbtributions may be made to the Elks Scholarship Fund, 606 Glamorgan St. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
