Ronald K. Harrison, of North Benton, Ohio, passed away June 24, 2022 at Altercare of Alliance, following a six month illness.
He was born in Salem, Ohio July 21, 1937, the son of the late Estella Freconna and Howard Harrison.
Ronnie grew up next to Mahoning School on Mahoning Avenue in Salem.
A 1955 graduate of Alliance High School, he was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1962 from Fort Myer, Virginia. Thereafter, he was employed at the Alliance Machine Company for 31 years.
Ronnie also attended the Alliance Friends Church.
His hobbies included making tiny cardboard houses and buildings, working tirelessly in beautiful yard and flower gardens, and making totem poles and palm trees to display in his yard.
He is survived by his nephew, Paul Michael Andrews of Alliance, Ohio, his cousin, John (Linda) Freconna of Alliance, his cousin, Bob Bartholow, of Leetonia, Ohio and a half-sister, Carol Misner, of Michigan.
Besides his parents, Estella Freconna and Howard Harrison, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Mike Freconna, and his beloved sister, Shirley Ann (Harrison) Andrews.
A Funeral Service to honor Ronald Keith Harrison will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home at Noon Wednesday, June 29, 2022 with Pastor Russ Gumm of Alliance Friends Church officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, with interment following the service at Highland Memorial Park, 264 S. 12th Street, Beloit Ohio.
