Ronald K. Johnson age 52 of Alliance, died at 7:45 p.m. April 17, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mr. Johnson was born in Corbin, Kentucky on August 27, 1951 to Kenneth C. and Marjorie (Teague) Teague and lived in Alliance for over 50 years, after moving here when he was only six months old.
Ron graduated in 1969 from Alliance High School, and worked at Timken Company for 33 years, as the Unit Manager of Maintenance at the Harrison Rolling Mill Plant.
He was a board member and coached Alliance Little Aviators for 12 years. He was also a member of the Association for Iron and Steel.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Catherine (Wagnitz), whom he married November 28, 1970, two daughters; Dawn (Curt) Johnson VanEperen, of Nebraska, and grandson Daegan and granddaughter Taryn, daughter; Deborah (Jim) Johnson-Thompson, of Doylestown, and granddaughter Cameryn and grandson Cole, and one son; Dale (Brenda) Johnson, of N. Canton, one sister; Rhonda (Greg) Shaffer of Alliance, niece Jaimie and nephew Jonathan, and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth on July 27, 2003 and his mother Marjorie on April 3, 2004.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Himmelheber officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday
