Ronald Lee Timpe, age 67 of Alliance, died at Noon Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Altercare of Alliance.
He was born August 7, 1938 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to John Andrew and Alma Fern (Carlisle) Timpe and had lived in Alliance his entire life.
Ronald graduated from Alliance High School in 1956. He was a life member of the Alliance Elks Lodge #467, and exalted ruler in 1973. He had been employed by Grove Refrigeration as a Salesman.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Lou (Barnes) Timpe, whom he married Sept. 9, 1956; three sons, Chris (Susie) Timpe of Alliance, Craig (Kathy) Timpe of Apopka, Florida, and Brian (Clare) Timpe of Tyndall Air Force Base of Florida; four grandchildren, Jon, Jennifer, Ryan and Hailey Timpe; and one sister, Susan Kay Timpe of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Timpe.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor David Hohlbaugh of Marlboro Assembly of God officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday with an Elks Service to be held at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
