Ronald L. McClarren

Ronald L. McClarren, age 69, of Louisville, passed away at 2:42 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born June 27, 1947, in Alliance, Ohio, to the late Robert and Ida Mae McClarren.
Ron was a 1965 Alliance High School graduate and employed as a hardware salesman for many years at Schneider Lumber in Canton.
A member of the St Paul's Lutheran Church, Ron coached the church softball team, was a member of the music and worship committee, Men's Group, Thrivent board and the church council.
He was a parent volunteer for the West Branch music department and also involved with judging the floats at the Carnation Day Parade. He was a member of the Elks BPOE No. 467 and he loved to travel, especially to Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Siegfried) McClarren, whom he married July 26, 1975; daughter, Krista (Corey) Clay of Louisville; the lights of his life, grandchildren, Gavin, Ashton, and Sutton; sister, Debbie (Rich) Rhoads of Alliance; sisters-in-law, Joyce McClarren of Marine City, Michigan and Cindy McClarren of Alliance; many nieces and nephews; and his devoted dogs, Sadie and Molly.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth Ann, Robert, Shirley, Porter and Jim.
Services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3295 S. Union Ave., Alliance, OH 44601, with The Rev. Dr. Bruce R. Roth officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday the 22nd at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service, at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
