Ronald Dwain Morris, age 76, of Alliance, died at 8:35 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2013, at his home.
He was born March 15, 1936, in Kensington, Ohio, to Art and Evelyn (Reeder) Morris.
Ronald graduated from Alliance High School and machinist school. He retired from LTV Steel as a master machinist; then ran parts for Heestand Auto Parts.
He was a member of the Eagles Club American Legion, Salem Amvets, Moose Club, Dr. Roach's Outdoor League and Veterans of the Korean War.
Ronald loved woodworking, fishing at Lake Erie, boating and camping.
He was a United States Air Force veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Noling) Morris whom he married March 16, 1973; children, Roxanne (Gerald) Yoho of Alliance, Dwain (Jackie) Morris of Clearwater, Fla., Melissa (John) Rigdon and Bill Morris, both of Alliance; grandchildren, Ronald Morris, Amanda Morris, Mackenzie McCain, and Madison McCain; and brother, Richard (Rachel) Morris of Augusta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Moore; brother, Kenny Morris; and a grandson, Matthew Bussie.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Muse officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
