Ronald Douglas Rhome, Jr., age 24, of Akron, formerly of Alliance, passed away, Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Coventry Township from injuries sustained in an accident.
He was born, July 22, 1988, in Alliance, Ohio, to Ronald and Melissa (Mozden) Rhome.
Ronnie was a 2008 graduate of Alliance High School in the Auto Body Vocational School and was employed by K & D Truck Service and Towing.
He was a member of the First Church of God.
He loved life, his family and friends, of which were his world. He was very proud of his two brothers for entering the United States Marine Corps. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, salt water aquariums, and had a passion for working on cars and motorcycles.
Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Melissa Rhome of Alliance, his fiancé, Ashley Wilt of Akron; two sons, Ronald Douglas Rhome III and Jayden Wilt, both of the home; two brothers, Alex and Justin Rhome, both of Alliance; maternal grandmother, Virginia Mozden; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Mozden; maternal grandfather, Frank Stevens; paternal grandparents, George and Carol Rhome, both of Alliance; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Martina Sihelnik and a cousin, Jonathan Rhome.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Ruble and Pastor Aaron Hill, co-officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
