Ronald W. Vicars

Ronald W. Vicars, age 53, of Myrtle Beach, formally of Alliance, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, at his home.
He was born May 2, 1963, in Alliance, to William and Nancy (Meeks) Vicars.
Ronnie attended the Alliance First Church of God and enjoyed golfing, sitting on the pier at the beach and listening to Christian music.
He was a proud and loving father whose greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Ronnie is survived by his mother; son, Ronnie (Sarah) Ross, of Alliance; daughter, Eliyanah Dickerhoof; grandchildren, Aubree and Emmitt; brother, David (Nancy) Vicars of Myrtle Beach; sister, Krissy Vicars of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; soul mate, Renee; and grandson, Carson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Gruver officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for their discretion.
