Ronald L. Zinz, age 78, passed away Thursday July 9, 2020 at Boardman’s St. Elizabeth Hospital.
The son of William R. and Sarah (Schuller) Zinz Sr he was born on May 16, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio.
Ronald spent his life devoted to education. He earned his bachelors and Master’s degree from Kent State University in education. His career was spent teaching math until his retirement in 1992 from the Poland School System.
He was an avid motorcyclist, and lifetime member of the Western Reserve Motorcycle Club. He was also a member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge, Youngstown Saxon Club, Italian-American Club of Salem and the American Legion in Lake Milton.
He is survived by his family, Donald (Lucille) Zinz of Deerfield, Dennis Zinz, Jacob (Jennifer) Zinz of Whitehouse, Bessie Zinz of Deerfield; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William R. Zinz Jr.; nephews, Richard W. Zinz, and Daniel C. Zinz.
A celebration of life will held at a later date.
The family would like to especially thank his physician, Dr. Joseph Zeno and also Leslie of the Palliative Care team at St. E’s for their compassionate care.
