Rose Marie Boehm, age 81, of Beloit, died at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Salem Community Hosptial.
She was born Feb. 14, 1927 in East Liverpool, Ohio, to Thomas and Rose (Conley) Browning and was an area resident since 1959.
A 1944 graduate of East Liverpool High School, Rose was employed at the Homer Laughlin China Co. as a mold runner and cup finisher at the #4 Clay shop. She worked as a cashier at the American Theater in East Liverpool, managed the snack bar at the Salem Drive-In, was a cashier at the State Theater in Salem and worked at Gem Clay in Sebring.
She was of the Protestant faith, was an avid bingo player and a member of the Double Nello Card Club. Rose was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur P. Boehm, whom she married August 29, 1959; three daughters, Barbara Marie Stacey and Patricia Ann (Thomas) Lloyd both of Empire and Janet Kay (Ken) Faust of East Palestine, Ohio; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth Browning; four sisters, Dorothy Wain, Fanny Runyon, Virginia Chambers and Audrey Seevers; her beloved nephew, Robert Seevers, and mother and father-in-law, Oliver and Viola Boehm.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Boehm officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
