Ross W. McCallum, age 94, of Louisville, died at 4:55 a.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009 at St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville.
He was born August 8, 1915 in Marlboro to William M. and Mayme (Willard) McCallum.
A graduate of the former Marlboro High School, Mr. McCallum was a farmer, and also worked at Crane Company for 28 years.
He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie (Wolfe) McCallum, whom he married Dec. 4, 1940, one son, John McCallum of Dayton, Ohio and one brother, Malcolm "Thomas" McCallum, of Ventura, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, James McCallum, one brother, Donald McCallum, and one sister, Martha Handwork.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Adkins of Aldersgate United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
