Roy Shade

Roy J. Shade, age 75, of Atwater, died at 3:55 a.m. Monday July 11, 2005 at Canterbury Villa Nursing Center.
He was born March 4, 1930 in Newton Falls, Ohio to Roy Bower and Cora Mae (Fenton) Shade and lived in Atwater most of his life.
He attended Newton Falls Public Schools, and was employed as a Boiler Fireman for Alliance Rubber Company.
He was a member of Atwater Congregational Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Marie (Stull) Shade of Atwater, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Velma Mae Davis, Hazel Marie Sindledecker, and Opal James; and four brothers, Evan Shade, Larry Shade, Delbert Wayne Shade, and Harry Lee Shade.
Services will be held at Noon Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastors Neil Taylor and Bill Witt officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Atwater Cemetery.
