Roy F. Snyder

Roy F. Snyder, age 68, of Canton, passed away at 2:50 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017, at his home.
He was born January 2, 1949, in Beloit, Ohio, to John and Irene (Mason) Snyder.
A graduate of West Branch High School, Roy was employed for 42 years at Transue & Williams Stamping.
The "Life of the Party", Roy enjoyed camping, fishing, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
His survivors include his son, Brian (Mary Lou) Snyder, and her son, Kohl; daughter, Dawn (Jason) Hastey, and their sons, Colton and Jackson; siblings, Linda (Jeff) Kerr, Kay (Gary) Blake and Harold (Darlene) Snyder; many nieces and nephews; and Betsey Jarc, and her children and grandchildren.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Denise Puehler, Garlene Gregoire, Jackie Karlen and Sylvia Handy.
A Celebration of Life for Roy will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the American Legion Post 76 at 395 W. California Ave. Sebring OH 44672.
Roy's family would like to extend a special thank you to Mercy Medical Center Hospice and his longtime physician, Dr. Noman Rafique and the staff at Tri-County Hematology and Oncology for their care of him.
