Ruby M. Paxson, age 66 of Alliance, died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday April 29, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born August 11, 1937 in Maximo, Ohio to Karl G. and Lucretta M. (Moulin) Brunner and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Mrs. Paxson was employed as a Cab Driver for Zone Cab of Alliance for ten years, retiring in 1988; she was also employed at Royal China in Sebring and serving in the home healthcare field.
Survivors include one daughter, Milly (Bill) Hurford of Alliance, four sons, Harry Paxson, William Paxson Jr., of Alliance, Tony Paxson of Florida, and James Paxson of London, Ohio, two grandchildren of the home, Raymond and Tiffany, as well as two other grandchildren, sisters; Rita Todd, Ruth (Calvin) Guess, Rosemary Crogart, Rhea (Bill) Nester, Rena (Ron) Kindler, and a brother; Robert Brunner, and three lifelong friends, Betty Dorsey, Betty McKinney, and Rebecca Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Dennis Paxson, brothers, Raymond Brunner and Russell Brunner, and five sisters, Rhonda and Rachel Brunner, Rhoda Kuntzman, RayLou Miner, and Romona Yoho.
Services will be held at Noon Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Monday, as well as one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
