Ruby E. Rhoads, age 93, of Limaville, died at 7:11 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1919 in New Baltimore, Ohio to Joseph and Olive (Puffer) Wymer.
A graduate of Marlboro High School, and along with her late husband, was owner of the former Rhoads Limaville Market.
Ruby liked to sew, crochet, play cards and go dancing.
Survivors include; three daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Green of Payson AZ, Janet (Bob) Myers of Marlboro, Cindy (Bud) Cobbs of Streetsboro; eight grandchildren, Mike (Karen) Green, Shawna Green, Sharon (Norm) Green Butler, Barry (Karen) Green, Mark (Mary) Myers, Laurie Myers, Kim (Chris) Cobbs Rininger, and Ted Cobbs; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Russ Wymer, of Uniontown, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Connie Mangino, who died in 2007 and Karen Rhoads who died in 1952; one sister, Helen Crawford, two brothers, Arthur Wymer, and Audrey "Bud" Wymer, and her husband, Donald H. Rhoads, whom she married April 3, 1937, and who died Feb. 19, 2008.
Graveside Services for the immediate family will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Limaville Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Alliance Community Care Center, or Alliance Visiting Nurse Hospice Association.
