Rudolph Kotzbacher

Rudolph Sigmund Kotzbacher, age 93, of Westville Lake, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Crandall Medical Center.

He was born July 21, 1925, in Alliance, Ohio, to Rudolf and Katherine (Sigmund) Kotzbacher.

A graduate of Alliance High School, Rudolph was employed with Sekely Industries in Salem and the former Alliance Manufacturing Company until his retirement.

Rudolph was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of the Saxon Lodge and also the St. Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, and car racing. Rudolph also enjoyed singing as a member of the Alliance Senior Center Chorus.

Survivors include his son, Robert R. Kotzbacher of Cheyenne, WY and grandsons, Robert S. Kotzbacher of Independence, MO and Michael S. (Nicole) Kotzbacher; great-grandchildren, Mara Kotzbacher and Seth Kotzbacher, all of Fargo ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan Pendergast and sister, Catherine Cox.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Highland Memorial Park with The Rev. Timothy Muse officiating.
