Russell C. McNeal

Russell “Russ” C. McNeal, age 66, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown.

He was born December 13, 1953, in Alliance to the late Orlie and Juanita (Beamish) McNeal.

Russ worked at the Alliance Country Club for over 20 years.  He was a handyman who could fix anything and was always willing to help his neighbors.  He loved his family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Grace McNeal (Albright) whom he married on May 24, 1985; step-children, Tom (Linda) Dugan, Jim (Liudmyla) Dugan, Vicky (David) Little, Tracy Carahan; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Butch (Nancy) McNeal, Clara Ward, Mary Shutler, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by his sisters, Florence Hively and Mildred Buckelmyer; and a dear friend, Bernie Bostwic.

Services will be held at Noon, Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Reich officiating. Friends may call from 10 AM - Noon, prior to the service. Interment with be at Highland Memorial Park.
