Ruth Evelyn Mesaros

March 14, 1929 — February 10, 2007

Ruth Evelyn Blair Mesaros, age 77, of Alliance, died at 8:25 p.m. Feb. 10, 2007 at Community Care Center.
She was born March 14, 1929 in Kinchloe, West Virginia to Hunter Lyle McClung and Reva Thelma (Batton) McClung. She lived most of her life in Deerfield and moved to Alliance in 1990.
Mrs. Mesaros attended Weston High School in West Virginia and worked at Robinson Memorial Hospital as a housekeeper, retiring after 20 years of service.
Ruth was baptized in the United Brethren Church, and was an avid seamstress. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Harold Lee Blair Jr., of Akron, Joyce (Al) Kuss of Diamond, Terry (Karen) Blair of Alliance, Tim (Kathy) Blair of Akron, Bill (Crystal) Blair of Sebring, Gary (Denise) Blair of Smyrna, Tenn., and Jannet Blair of Alliance; step-children, Linda Adaska of Fla., and Dave Mesaros of Az.,; 15 grandchildren, Kim Blair, Lee Blair, Brent Blair, Keven Kuss, Krista Goerss, Joseph Blair, Jessica Blair, Stephanie Blair, Robert Blair, Jeffrey Blair, Billie Jo Hatton, Shane Blair, Colton Blair, Ryan Boyko, and Halie Blair; step-grandson, Barry Adaska; 17 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Joanna Blair; and siblings, Naomi Fraraccio of Alliance, Rubert McClung of Alliance, Freda Fegan of Alliance, and David McClung of Alliance.
Mrs. Mesaros was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Harold Lee Blair Sr., whom she married Oct. 14, 1946, and who died Aug. 24, 1980; her second husband, Frank Mesaros, whom she married Dec. 23, 1984, and who died 1989; one son, Jeffrey Scott Blair, and one brother, Donald McClung.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joyce A. Fast of the Palmyra United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
