Ruth L. Gerber
Ruth L. Gerber, age 90, of Alliance, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Community Care Center.
She was born December 17, 1917 in Alliance, Ohio to Charles G. and Laura (McLean) Gerber and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
A 1936 graduate of Alliance High School, Ruth worked as a Seamstress at the former Taylorcraft.
She was a very active member of the Alliance West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ruth enjoyed talking to people about God's kingdom, helping others and gardening.
Miss Gerber is survived by her sister, Hazel Hoover of Alliance; and seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles and Willis, and one sister, Clara.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Alliance West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall at 701 W. Main St. Alliance with Louis G. Whitaker officiating.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
