Ruth M. Good, age 89, of Alliance, passed away at 4 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, at Community Care Center.
She was born July 3, 1924, in Tyler County, West Virginia, to Guy and Ina Mae (Meade) Wagner.
Ruth was a former employee of Royal China and French Saxon Potteries in Sebring.
She was a member of the Sebring VFW Auxiliary, and enjoyed bowling and country music. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth J. (Karen) Butler of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Paul (Patti) Butler, Kenneth (Kathy) Butler, Kevin (Sarah) Butler, Laine (Stacey) Shreiner, Marla (Kenneth) Albert, Stacy Shreiner and Kendra Butler; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-granddaughters; stepson, John W. Good of New Hampshire; three stepdaughters, Deborah Gorfi of Sebring, Catherine (Jack) Morris of Alliance and Tina M. (Woody) Wood of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John W. Good, Sr., whom she married May 17, 1986 and who died October 16, 2011; three brothers; and three sisters.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
