Ruth J. Snodgrass, age 73 of Alliance, passed away at her home Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006.
She was born August 4, 1933 in Sistersville, West Virginia to Burt and Mary (Richmond) Rice and lived most of her life in Alliance.
Ruth graduated from high school in Sistersville and worked as a Nurses Aid at Rockhill Place. She previously was employed at the Hoover Company in Canton.
A member of the Carnation City Baptist Church, Ruth enjoyed being with her family, going to church, and spending time with her church family.
Survivors include her children, Roger L. Yoho of Alliance, Joseph S. Yoho of Alliance, Cathy L. (Roger) Barker of North Benton, and Brenda L. (Mike) Kuzma of Palm Bay, Fla.; step-daughter, Tammy Carson of Fla.; grandchildren, Paul E. Barker, Kevin L. Yoho, Lisa R. Barker, Keith R. Yoho, Joshua L. Yoho, Amy Kuzma, Joe Kuzma, and Dawn M. Kuzma; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Bernard L. Yoho, her second husband, Larry W. Snodgrass; and sisters, Mary Steed, Evelyn Kimble, Virginia Thompson, and brother, Manford Rice.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Tanley officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
