Ruth R. Malmsberry, age 83 of Alliance, died at her home March 9, 2005.
She was born May 15, 1921 in Coshocton, Ohio to Addison and Bessie (Richesson) Huff Gardner.
Mrs. Malmsberry graduated from Alliance High School and served as a Nurse for Roselawn Terrace Nursing Home until retiring in 1996. She also worked as a private duty nurse.
She attended Alliance Evangelical Friends Church, the Alliance Senior Citizens Center and AARP.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Thomas Finn, who died in 1946, and one son, Roger L. Finn.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor L.L. Edwin Mosher officiating. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
