Ruth Wallace

Ruth J. Wallace, age 82, of Homeworth, died at 9:15 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born September 16, 1928 in Marlboro Township, Ohio, to Harry and Grace (Pennock) Roudabush.
Ruth was a 1946 graduate of the former Marlboro High School. She helped to oversee and run the family farm, liked to cook, go bowling, and especially enjoyed being with her family.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Wayne (Margaret) Wallace and Paul (Jenny) Wallace, both of Homeworth; six grandchildren, Emily, Jessica, Katie, Matt, Hannah and Krystle; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles E. Wallace, whom she married August 28, 1954 and who died May 28, 1997; and her daughter, Julie Miller.
A private service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
